College Volunteering
Each College in Durham University has organised student groups that deliver their own volunteering on the college’s behalf – DUVO, being centralised within the university, acts only to support these volunteering groups by promoting their volunteering opportunities, building partnerships with the local community and training their volunteers. Otherwise, colleges are independent in their aims and objectives for the volunteering they do.
College volunteering is a great way to get involved with volunteering alongside familiar faces from your own college. Whether its small groups, college leaders and exec or college staff, the connections between college and local volunteering are strong.
