Durham community Fun Day
10:00 – 15:00, 29th October, Palace Green, Free entry!*
The Fun Day is a great chance for you to come and have a look at some of the amazing opportunities on offer. Student groups and local organisations will be promoting what they can do for you whether that be teaching creative arts or showing you science experiments.
During the day we have performances from student groups such as the Durham University Light Opera Group and Ooook! Productions. We will have participation events going on inside the marquee with Durham Amateur Rowing Club and Team Durham Holiday camps putting on participation events.
Some of the groups holding stalls are:
- County Durham Fire Service
- Auckland Project
- Hardwick Park
- Creative Fuse
The Assembly Rooms Theatre
Throughout the day we will not only running stalls within the marquee, the Assembly Rooms Theatre will have some amazing opportunities for you to watch some of their actors rehearse or join in with some fun activities. Only a short walk from Palace Green, stop by to see what they have to offer!
