Volunteering Awards 2022

The 2022 Durham University Volunteering Awards were held on Monday 13th June at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Durham. The awards celebrated the exceptional efforts of both staff and students across the university and recognised the impact these efforts had on individuals and the community.

This year we were delighted to be joined by County Durham’s Lord Lieutenant Mrs Sue Snowdon and 2021 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Unsung Hero, Sam Barlow.

This year we had over 200 nominations of brilliant students, staff and projects. Below is a list of all the winners and the shortlisted volunteers and projects.
